SPY650-Golgi is a new fluorescent live cell probe for the golgi apparatus. It is based on asparagusic acid golgi trackers developed by Saidjalolov et al.1) It is able to label the golgi apparatus in live cells as fast as 15 min after adding the probe. SPY650-Golgi is a bright, non toxic, cell permeable and highly specific live cell probe for fluorescence imaging of the golgi apparatus. It does not require any transfection or genetic manipulation of the cells.
Product contains 1 vial of SPY650-Golgi in lyophilized form allowing to prepare 50 ul of 1000x DMSO stock solution (100 stainings*).

SPY650-golgi is a bright, far red & non toxic live cell golgi probe based on our SPY™ dyes series. Its optimized structure allows quick labeling of the golgi apparatus in live cells with high specificity and low background. SPY650-golgi stains the golgi apparatus in live cells without the need for genetic manipulation or overexpression of fluorescent proteins. Its absorbance and emission spectra are similar to Cy5.
SPY650-golgi enables multicolor imaging with SPY505, SPY555, SPY595, SPY700, GFP or m-cherry. SPY650-golgi can be imaged with standard Cy5 filtersets. It can be used for, confocal, SIM or STED imaging in living cells and tissue. Contains 1 vial of SPY650-golgi (lyophilized).**Based on the following conditions: 0.5 ml staining solution / staining experiment with 1x probe concentration. The number of staining experiments can be further increased by reducing the staining solution volume or the probe concentration.
